Due date for e-payment of service tax

05 October 2011 Due date for service tax for e-payt is 6th of subsequent month.. Now 6th Oct 2011 is a Public holiday, what will be the due date in this case

05 October 2011 still the 6th October shall be considered as the due date....as there is no requirement to go to any government office or any bank for the payment of taxes. you have to make the payments online.

If u r making e payment then holiday issue doesnt arise.
