30 July 2010 What is the due date for filing the income tax return of a Proprietorship Firm?

30 July 2010 Due date is 31-07-2010.

However, if the sales/turnover exceeds Rs. 40 lakh or receipts from profession exceeds Rs. 10 lakh for FY 2009-10, thereby audit under Sec 44AB becomes mandatory, the due date will be 30-09-2010.

30 July 2010 if audit Proprietorship Firm is required then - 30th sept.

any other condition - 31st july

31 July 2010 Today (31st July 2010) is the last date for filing IT return in your case if your proprietorship firm is not eligible to get an audit.
