PLEASE INFORM WHETHER THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN TREATMENT OF LONG TERM CAPITAL GAINS ON SALE OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY AS PER NEW DIRECT TAX CODE EFFECTIVE FY 2012.
IS IT BENIFICAL TO THE TAX PAYER OR THE EXISTING TREATMENT OF TAX IS BETTER.

Do not bother the DTC is yet to come so think from the existing laws as there is no change in Capital Gain Tax even in DTC
