12 March 2014 We have Charged 12.36%( Rs 743) on Rs 6007/- to our customer, but unfortunately we did not register for Service Tax and the amount is still with us.

Our customer is asking Rs 743/- back.

After refunding the amount? Do we have to pay any other charges or something to the Government?

13 March 2014 Then you need to cancel the old invoice and issue new invoice without S.Tax and repay the the S.Tax amount to client.No other Charges you have to pay provided you pay back soon to that client.
