Doubling of servic tax in same work

18 October 2011 Dear Sir,

Let A is client, B is contractor and C is sub contractor of B.

Consider C has done his work,which is given by B and C got his service tax paid amount from B after showed his tax invoice to B

And the same has been consider for B.

Is GOVT getting more than one time service tax for the same work.

if no than how can get the credit of service tax paid by our sut cot.

Explain me with Example Pls.

20 October 2011 C will charge service tax to B
B will charge service tax to A and take credit of service tax paid on bills of B (and not availing any exemption or abatement)

hence the tax liability of B is reduced with the amount he paid to C
