31 August 2011 when will a company automatically gets status of being dormant compnay.
when can roc strike off name of a company.

31 August 2011 Status of a company will be shown as 'dormant' in company master data in MCA portal if e-filing of annual return and financials are not done from financial year 2006-07 onwards.

31 August 2011 dear sir what is logic of the year 2006-07 onwards ansd sir plz reply when will it be sstruck off. can it be struck off automatically

01 September 2011 For non filing of Statutory Returns with the concerned Roc for one year it will be treated as Defaulting company and the Non-Filling of Statutory Returns for 5 or more years will be treated as Dormant company.
The company could not be struck off automatically, There is a procedure for struck off its name from RoC Register. Now there is one scheme called Fast Track Exit Mode,Which will help the companies which is not carrying any business since the inception or last one year is eligible to getting struck off.
