27 February 2012 Is it possible by using PAN we can know DOB/DOI of a person/business?
If yes, How can we know?

27 February 2012 I dont think so it shall be possible.. should it be regard to e filing of returns etc. you may get in touch with the aaykar sampark kendra.. they shall be able to assist you..

04 April 2012 No it is not possible to know the details of others through internet. Yes through the PAN number you can get it but on the net it is not available. To get the details you should contact the Income Tax Officer of any ward who can open all the details of the PAN numbers with full detials
