Dissolution of partnership firm

29 September 2014 Myself and my father were running a partnership firm since last 5 years. My father expired during June,2013 and I took over the firm business as sole proprietor. Now, whether submitting Dissolution Deed in IT department is mandatory ?

02 October 2014 you need to intimate AO under section 176....what documents AO ask for later on depends on his discretion and asking for dissolution deed is very much within his powers.
