19 September 2016 Q1. Ashok purchase goods for rs.1lakh.As per terms, if ashok made full payment within 20 days, he will get a cash discount @2.5%. Ashok paid rs 50k within stipulated time. How much discount will he get?

19 September 2016 This is as per the terms and conditions with the parties .if the agreement stipulates full payment within 20 days .then full payment to be made within 20 days.

19 September 2016 Sir, this question is irrelevant in corporate deals only the agreement between the parties to be considered. If you say you can negotiate the matter and get the discount for the amount paid by showing a genuine reason for not paying the balance amount probably they will give you the discount
