Disconnect & reconnect charges of electricity

Dear Experts,
i had not paid electricity bill hence electricity company has disconnect my electricity line after that i have to paid the entire bill of electricity. the electricity company has also charged Rs. 300 for diconnection & reconnection. pls tell me weather these 300 will be allowed in income tax or not,

My doubt is on disconnection & reconnection charges, because it does sound penalty nature,

Yes, I meant the same. Penalty inposed by Govt is disallowed. Here, it is electricity company , so it is allowed. And reconnection and disconnection charges are not oenalty but charges for services, hence.
