Disclosure of interest accrued on fixed deposits

10 October 2020 Whether it is mandatory to disclose interest accrued on fixed deposits as part of other Bank Balances or it is allowed to be shown as part of current asset separately.


10 October 2020 * Interest 'accrued and due' should be clubbed with FD balance and to be disclosed under the head "Cash and Cash Equivalents".

* Interest 'accrued but not due' is to be disclosed under the head " Current Assets"
