Disclosure of FD in ITR

01 August 2017 Dear Experts My total gross income is Rs 4.5/- lac for assememt year 2017-18. I want to file my income tax return. I have 2 fixed deposits in bank and earn interest 20000/- in last year. So, in that case i disclose my FD amount in ITR or only interest amount ?

01 August 2017 The Question of disclosing FD would arise only if you were to fill in a Balance Sheet. you would need to fill in a Balance Sheet only if your Gross Total Income includes income from Business or Profession.
