A firm paid ESI payment for earlier years after received a notice from ESI department during this year. If it allowed or disallowed u/s.43B?

ESI will be allowed as deduction in the year in which it is paid.
Even though the amount pertains to an earlier year the same shall be allowed as deduction in the current year.
