29 January 2009 I GOT 142 IN THE DEC 2008 EXAM OF DISA AT.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW.
IS THERE ANY CHANCES IF I OPT FOR RECHECKING BECAUSE I SAW LOTS OF STUDENTS SECURING EXACT 150 MARKS.

This was my 2 nd attempt is there any ristriction on the no of attempts.

29 January 2009 Dear Suresh, I have cleared my DISA exam today. But I dont know exactly what are the chances in rechecking. But there is no restriction on the number of attempts.

The scoring of exactly 150 is because of the scaled marks system of ICAI.

Have you gone through the CISA questions while preparing for the exams. I think it is the best material available with us for study other then the ICAI Books.

Dear Suresh,

I think you are not aware about scaling of the marks by ICAI.

ICAI first make results and thereafter cut the obtianed marks as per scalling before declaration of results.

May be person obtined 157 or 161 but taken only 150 to pass not showing his her over otstinding performance,except for the few persons.
