what is the first director or permanent director of a pvt. ltd. company

In case of a company normally subscriber of memorandum/Promoter are the first director.
As in case of a private company retirement of director by rotation is not applicable so first director can continue their office as director up to any time limit. So you may consider directors of a private company as permanent director.
