Can a non executive director of a private limited company can be appointed as an employee in other company (LISTED COMPANY)

Yes, there is no bar for a director of company to work as employee of any other company.

There is no doubt about the observation of expert.
An ordinary director of a private company is free to work as employee of other company. However the same flexibility is not available to a director working under the designation of WTD.
