21 September 2010 Hi.....Can any one tell me whether there is compulsion to revise the Directors remuneration every year in private limited company? if no..than please tell me what are the relevant provisions regarding the same in the private limited company?

21 September 2010 Ceiling of remuneration is not applicable to Private Limited Companies as per section 198 of the companies act,1956. As per AOA the company can decide the remuneration.

25 September 2010 Agree with Ca Chakrapani. The remuneration can be decided by the board in accordance with the authority contained under Articles.
