02 May 2022 Will a director be disqualified if he/she attends all the meetings through virtual mode and is also going to attend the Board Meeting for adoption of Financial Statements, Boards Report and other papers through virtual mode only?

To balance the situation and as a measure to ease compliance requirements, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has allowed companies to conduct board meetings through video conferencing and other audio visual means, for all matters including those that were otherwise required to be conducted physically.
