24 July 2015 Sir we want to add a Director in an Private limited Company. I will be filing DIR-12.
Attachments of DIR-12:
1. Letter of Appointment
2. DIR-2 (Stamped & Notarised)

I have a query that the proposed director is also doing business as Sole Proprietor. Do I need to File attachments with reference to Interest in any other Entity. Because in the Form it asks for CIN/FCRN/LLPN but Sole Proprietor doesn't have any such No.

Also help as to whether MGT-14 is to be Filed.

24 July 2015 1. DIR-2 in plain paper. No need to stamp and notarize.

2. No need to show proprietorship details in DIR-3.

3. No need to file MGT-14.

24 July 2015 Sir, I recently Incorporated a Private limited Company. And a Query was raised by MCA as the DIR-2 of Directors was not Stamped & Notarised.

25 July 2015 Yes, that can be possible. Each officer in ROC may have different view.
But as per Rules, DIR-2 is not required to be stamped and notarised, the basic reason behind this is that it is not in the form of Affidavit.
In Mumbai ROC, they never raised such query (atleast to me)

Continuing Pratik Ji, ROC (Kerala & Lakshadweep) doesn't ask for stamping and notarization of DIR-2.
