25 August 2010 Hi,

What is the limit of number of companies in which a director can be an executive Director.

Can an executive Director withdraw Director's Fees from more than 1 company.

26 August 2010 In my opinion an executive director is a person holding the position of MD, WTD or drawing remuneration. So if you want to appoint someone as MD in more than 1 company kindly refer section 316. For WTD other positions are not possible.

26 August 2010 Agreed with Mr. Ankur. Also Directors fees can be withdrawn by executive director(ED) for as all the Companies in which he is ED.
