13 October 2009 It depends on the nature of requirement. If you are a student of CA final, then you can opt out of Vinod Gupta, Girish Ahuja, TN Manoharan. And if you are a professional, then I will suggest you to go for Concise commentry on Direct Taxes by Dr. Girish Ahuja. It is good book written in a systematic way with good presentation. Even for CA final, my preference is always the book of Dr. Girish Ahuja.
