17 March 2008 No,Saritha ther is no need to remember Cosr Inflation Index.It will be given in Exams.i.e.the index of related year will be mentioned along with question.

In the question paper itself the required value of cost inflation index will be provided.

17 March 2008 No. You are not required to remember all Index numbers but you have to remember only Index of the current year. It may have been provided in Q.paper.
