Whether DTC will come into force w e.f. 01-04-2012. Plesae advise

Recently Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee expressed the hope that the Direct Taxes Code ( DTC), which seeks to modernise tax laws in the country, will come into force from April 1, 2012. The proposed Direct Taxes Code brings together the policy initiatives on direct taxes. It is slated to come into force from the next financial year.

agree with expert it may come in force from april 1,2012.
but DTC will take 2 or 3 years in proper implementation....because provisions contained in DTC bill not properly explained.
house property head have only 3 paragraphs.
so definately debatable points will arise after implementation.
