There r no shortcuts dude. If U want shortcuts then ur marks will also b awarded by deducting TDS. ;). Jokes apart. Study well and thoroughly by any book U think best for the subject. I'll suggest institute study materials for preparation.

At IPC or Dinal level U can follow institute materials or any other books like of Vinod Gupta, Sanjay Mundhra(for west bengal) etcU can also arrange tutors notes with the help of ur friends if any of them had take classes for taxes.
