Mr. X is appointed as WTD w.e.f. 01/04/2018 in a pvt. ltd. co. but he did not received any salary till date (even director is ready to weave off salary) Procedure to change his designation to a non executive director by weaving off the right to receive salary right from April 2018 ? Can it be done just by filing form DIR-12 for change in designation in current date , also i will attach the salary weaver letter received from the director ?

Filing DIR-12 with current date is possible, but to pay additional fee apart from normal filing fee. Waiver letter is not a mandatory attachment.
