Din pan updation

11 June 2014 One of my client has taken DIN many years ago. He was retired as directors and not working as directors since last morethan 8 years. His DIN is not updated with PAN.
His present status is not reflected as disabled/suspended on MCA site.
Now he wants to join as director and want to use his DIN. But his DIN is without PAN details.

So, what to do, / Which Form should be filed to update PAN details ?

Is there any penalty for such delay?
Please guide.

12 June 2014 Please e-file Form No. DIR 6 with PAN card copy and Form No. DIR 7 as mandatory attachments.

12 June 2014 Thanks sir,

But in DIN-7,para (d) of confirmation state that "I have not been already allotted a Director Identification Number (DIN) under section 154 of the Companies Act, 2013,"

The DIN was already allotted earlier,
SO, whether we have remain that para or delete in DIN-7.
