Hi,
I am trying to apply for DIN for foreign national, who is currently deputed in India .
As he is currently residing in India I am giving his residential address as Indian Address and as his nationality is declared as Japanese in the passport hence I am giving his permenant address as his Japanese address.
Now , Please guide me that who should attest the identity prrofs of the Director.
When I called up DIN cell they informed me that his home country notary should attest the document. Now , when director is residing in India right now , how come japanese notary will be able to issue the attested copies of his ID proof???
I understand that this problems must be faced by many other companies , please let me know the solution to this problem as same is urgenetly required to be addressed .

What are the additional information/ documents required in case of a foreign national?
Details of a valid passport should be filled in form DIN-1 and a certified copy of same should be attached with DIN application. All supporting documents including photograph should be certified by the Indian Embassy or a notary in the home country of the applicant or by the Managing Director / CEO / Company Secretary of the company registered in India, in which applicant is a director.
