30 July 2011 Dear Friends

My client inadvertently got two DINs immediately on the same day. One DIN was used for incorporation. How to surrender the Another one. Is there any procedure for cancellation or surrender?

I contacted MCA but they referred DIN centre.
Could you please give DIN Cell contact number.

30 July 2011 Dear friend,
I think there is no provisions for surrendering Din. My friends tried it, but all in vain. However the Din cell number is 951206522478. Dont use the another Din number for any purpose because if it is used it will create many problems. Actually taking another din number is an offence.

30 July 2011 When did you take the DIN's. Did you filled up PAN in both DIN-1 forms.

31 July 2011 Actually first filed DIN 1 and made the payment of 100/-. the portal accepted the payment but did not generated challan and showed prescrutiny error. I checked the transaction status and payment status also but not appeared there.
Then immediately i presrutiny the same form and filed again and it got approved.

Next morning when i check the transaction status in MCA, the DIN applied first was also approved.
In this way i got two DIns for the same person.
I filed same form without changing anything including PAN
