02 June 2015 Can any one tell me whether Address of proof of Director is mandatory for applying for change of Passport number in DIR-6??

And it is compulsory to get DIR-7 notarised by home Country??

If the Director has license which is expired can it be used as Address Proof???

02 June 2015 No need to attach address proof if there is no change. DIR-7 is done away w.e.f 18-9-2014.Expired documents will not be accepted by MCA.

But Can I get DIR-7 attested at Indian Embassy Mumbai? or notary of home country is required? And is it mandatory to get this change of passport number notified at MCA? I mean if it is only reissue of passport and due to that there is passport number change?

02 June 2015 Change in particulars has to be informed with in 30 days of change through DIR-6 which means it is mandatory though 'shall' is used in the concerned rule 12(1).
I repeat, DIR-7 is not required now.

04 June 2015 Hi Sir,

I uploaded the Form DIR-6 with both the copy (OLd and New Passport) as attachments to it but I received Remarks from ROC stating that the copy of Passport should be Notarized/appostile from Home Country i.e USA in this Case. So now what should I do???
