16 December 2011 Sir,

A Pvt Ltd. Co. registered in Feb, 1994. Both directors have not applied for DIN-3 in ROC. Can i apply for them now. Is there any penalty for that ?

16 December 2011 As per section 266E(1) of the Companies Act,1956 , every company has to furnish details of DIN, with in one week from the receipt of intimation in DIN-2 from director's, to the Registrar in DIN-3.

Failure to the above attracts penalty of Rs.5,000/- plus Rs.500/- per day for the continued contravention ,as per section 266G of the Companies Act,1956.
