11 August 2009 DIN application rejected due to mismatch of name with proof attached. Quote from communication
''In case no change is required in the DIN application form but only providing supporting (proof) documents - please submit correct document(s) again, referring provisional DIN number''. How can the correct proof forwarded to DIN Cell
with out applying afresh.

11 August 2009 Dear Sir,

Kindly appreciate as you are not going to make any change in your original DIN application you have to submit new proof to the DIN Cell which supports the original name.

As per my opinion in this regard you have to submit the following documents to the DIN Cell:
1. Certified copy of original DIN application
2. Certified copy of paid challan
3. Certified copy of new proof to support the name mentioned in original application.
