i have client information including PAN. when i apply for DIN, MCA site reflect that pan no. has already been allotted DIN.
now how can i got the old DIN as the client do not know any DIN allotted to him

Log in to www.mca.gov.in
In the coming screen, Under e forms -
Click on ' companies/ llps in which a person is/ was....
In the next appearing window, click on the emblem of magnifying glass given along side the column for DIN/DPIN.
In the coming window enter director's name, father's last name and DOB of director and click on 'search'.
DIN of the director will be displayed in the next screen.

Another option
File the form even though he has already allotted DIN. The system will says that this form has been identified as potential duplicate and the application goes for back end processing.
After few days, check the transaction status, if the DIN has been already allotted then system shows "DIN has been already allotted" and there will be an link. Click the link DIN approval letter (old) will be shown.
