Digital signature in income tax

Pls clarify :- is it mandatory to have digital signature to file income tax return? If so what its criteria

03 April 2017 No, it is not mandatory to verify all return with DSC for all assessee, there are certain conditions which u may learn in details by the following link:-

04 April 2017 Assesses falling under tax audit , companies etc are compulsory required to file ITR with DSC. if you are individidual and not falling under tax audit criteria you can file your ITR online without DSC .
