I have to register my digital signature on income tax site. how to register,please specify.Is there any software is required viz java.
please answer.

31 August 2014 For registering your digital signature :

1. Software required - Java 1.7 or above
2. Login to income tax e-filing site
3. go to profile settings tab
4. select "register digital signature certificate"
5. if you are signing with usb token, then insert usb token first
6. then select "sign with usb token"
7. then below select "select your usb token"
8. from that a new dialogue box will appear where you will be required to select your usb certificate, enter your password and click ok
9. then click submit
10. you will get email regarding your registration of digi sign
