It is based on commodity, that is the only difference. As per the vat schedule in any state, the vat rate is listed commodity wise. Please tell me in which state 4% and 5% is applicable?

in karnataka Vat 5% not 4% . but in different states have diffrent rate of tax . and agree with Rangaraj sir
