12 December 2014 Can you please clear out the differences between Act, Law, Rules, provision to rules, regulations?

12 December 2014 Law when passed by both houses of Parliament is called as Act.
Hindu Law, Mohd Law are the examples of LAW.
Finance Act is the example of ACT.
Rules are framed for effective administering of Act.
Proviso to rules: They are excepting in nature

13 December 2014 In detail the difference between rules and act? Also a common layman example and a statutory example of both if you can?

13 December 2014 You can take for example Income Tax Act and Income Tax Rules.
