As we know the composition of Nomination Committee that is
" A. The company through its Board of Directors shall constitute the nomination and remuneration committee which shall comprise at least three directors, all of whom shall be non-executive directors and at least half shall be independent.Chairman of the committee shall be an independent director.
Can any one tell me the difference between non- executive and independent Directors?

directors that are not involved in day to day activities of the company are called non-executive directors.
Among non-executive directors, you can have independent and non-independent directors.
Independent directors are the directors who have no relationship with the company, its directors, shareholders etc.
