What is the basic diference between loan and deposits???

Loan Means liability to the parson and deposit means asset to the person in the case of banks or finance providing companies loan is the asset and the deposit is the liability. Are you satisfied otherwise write what you required clearly regarding this i.e is your required meaning or nature etc... of loan and deposit.
