What is the procedure to start a cheque cashing business in india. What are the rules and where can I get it and who regulates this business ?

discounting of an account payee cheque is illegal. Other cheque discounting also is a banking activity and at the most it may be done by some NBFCs with certain precautions. an individual should not do this, though there is nothing illegal to accept the ordinary cross cheques or bearer cheques duty endorsed in your favour as payment of service or goods supplied or to be supplied by you
