07 July 2021 during filing of gstr 1 , when we fill hsn code then descripton of goods coloum auto filled and we can edit the discription of goods coloum .
please advice description of goods coloum should we edit as per our invoice or it should be as it is (auto filled one )

07 July 2021 The auto-filled description is more generic in nature. As edit option is provided, one can use to fill it with a more specific description. It's permitted. No issues with that.

07 July 2021 It is better to go with auto filled description as it would be considered more authentic as per nomenclature used in HSN codes.
