Dear Experts,
I'm running proprietary firm and in FY 2017-18 I had purchased the flat however the EMI is being deducted from firm current Account. Pls let me know can I claim the depreciation on flat.

it is best not to claim depreciation on this as you end up losing the long term capital gains status.
