23 January 2016 Pl see schedule II of the act . In brief the method is given below in seriatim.

1. find out the life of the asset from the schedule.

2. find out the depreciable value of the asset ie cost as reduced by the residual value which should be not less than 5% of coat.

3. divide the value as in 2 above by 1

4, resultant will be the anual depreciation.
