17 September 2008 I AM USING PC FOR MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION. COULD YOU PL ILLUSTRATE HOW TO ARRIVE AT THE DEPRECIATION VALUE.

18 September 2008 RATE OF DEPRECIATION OF COMPUTER IS 60%. VALUE OF DEPRECIATION IS 60% OF THE COST OF PC.

Depreciation rate is 60% of the bill amount.
You can include UPS & printer to the cost of the computer to calculate depreciation.
You can reduce depreciation from your medical transcription receipts for tax purposes.But you should not be the employer of the company to claim depreciation.
