WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM % OF DEPRECITAION ALLOWED FOR AN ASSET UNDER THE COMPANIES ACT, 1956 DURING ITS LIFE TIME.

It depends upon type of asset. In some cases, even full amount is allowed as depreciation. Check the link for the Depreciation rates as per Companies Act below
