There is a company having Softwares as there Fixed Assets. How to charge depreciation on it as per companies act.

charge in the same manner as you do for other assets:
depreciation rate:
WDV : 40%
SLM : 16.21%
depreciation rate:
WDV : 40%
SLM : 16.21%

agree with expert, 40 percent as per companies act and 60 percent as per Income tax act...
