13 August 2012 I am having proprietorship firm and having a block of 2 asset
1.Mobile - wdv Rs.6500
2.Car - wdv Rs.461000

I had sold Car at Rs.74000 only.Mobile is with me only so block is there.

what will be capital gain/loss ?

14 August 2012 if it is seperate block of asset, then u will be STCL on the diff between the sale value and the WDV

But it is a single block of asset consisting 2 Assets as i have mentioned earlier. If seperate block than its fine but here its different.

So let me know as per single block only

17 August 2012 if single block you can claim depreciation on the balance ie opening WDV (-) sale value
