Deposit of tds amount by the deductor.

02 February 2012 Dear sir,
If a government deductor, deducts TDS on payment made to the contractor on 02-02-2012. When he is reqired to deposit the deducted amount at bank - Whether on the same day of deduction made or within the 1st week of march 2012. Please advice in this regard.
