Hello Experts,
How much can I deposit in my wife saving account who is not salaried?
Can I deposit 2L per annum will that be any problem?

There is no restriction regarding cash deposits in SB account

Please note that for banking transactions above Rs.50,000 in cash is possible only after linking PAN in the account

And any transaction can be identified by IT Department by making use of the PAN. There is no such thing as safe amount which will not invite any problem. Problems will come if we do not have proper accounts for the money
