16 September 2010 Some one please solve my problem: the cost of Fixed Assets is 10000/- on 1.4.2008, at the eand of 31st march09, Dep. Was charged as per Co. Act 10% & I T act 20% respectively, having the effect of Dep. Charged, on 01.04.09 the F A. WDV will be 9000/- .( Rs.8000/- as per I T act) My query is on 31st March 2010, as per Co. act Dep. will be charged on 9000 but on what amount the I T dep will be charged ? is it Rs. 8000/- or 9000.

16 September 2010 Dep will be charged in income tax in 2009-10 , on Rs.8000/-

i.e Dep will be Rs.1600/-

17 September 2010 thank u warrier Sir, & Bansal sir,further on 31st march 2011 & 12 IT Dep will be chrged on 6400 & 5120/- amount and ( as per Company act 8100 & 7290/-)AM I RIGHT SIR, PL TELL ME
