I have heard that,, motor car is purchsed in the month January 2009 depreceation rate is instead of usual 15% now it has changed to 50%???.
Is it true.

Yes, there is a new notification for new commercial vehicle purchased between 01.01.2009 to 31.03.2009 and also put to business use - the rate of depreciation is 50%.
